This web site is dedicated to the ancestors of Tad D. Campbell

You live as long as you are remembered.  – Russian Proverb

Tad’s family history is quite varied, with roots that include 20th century veterans of “The Great War” and World War II, 19th century combatants on both sides of the American Civil War, 18th century patriots of the American Revolution, and 17th century Pilgrims aboard the Mayflower

Many countries make up the origins of Tad’s family, including: Scotland, England, Ireland, Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy, Norway, Canada, and of course the United States of America.

His ancestors came from all walks of life. They were planters, pilots, preachers and pirates; teachers, tavern keepers, and turners; farmers, farriers, fisherman, and factory workers; lumberjacks, lawyers, and laborers.

It is to the hard work, daring and perseverance of Tad’s ancestors that this web site is dedicated.
